Avian Explorers

Schedule: Monday to Sunday (Fixed sessions: 13:00 - 13:30; Closed on Thursdays)
Duration: Approx. 30 minutes 
Capacity: Max 12 participants per session (Subject to adjustment based on animal conditions)
Activities include: Macaw intelligence quizzes, pelican weighing and feeding, and guided educational commentary on bird habits. 

Price: NT$ 800 per person
Location: Avian Ark Discovery Pavilion
Check-in Notice: Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in at Uncle Sam's Store in the Wild West area of Leofoo Village.

Important Terms & Safety Guidelines

1. Age Restrictions: Participants must be aged 3 or above. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult, and all participants must follow safety regulations.
2. Dress Code & Etiquette: As this activity involves close contact with birds, please wear clothing in earth tones (e.g., black, white, gray, brown) and avoid bright colors. Please remain quiet during the experience to avoid startling the animals. Do not wear perfume or strongly scented skincare products.
3. Booking Deadline: Bookings for the 13:00–13:30 session must be completed by 12:00 PM on the day of the activity.
4. Reservation Priority: Bookings are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. No further bookings will be accepted once a session is full.
5. Weather & Force Majeure: For the safety of both guests and animals, sessions may be adjusted or canceled due to poor weather, natural disasters, or other force majeure events. In such cases, guests may choose an alternative on-site activity or extend their booking for the same activity (valid for 3 months, limit of one extension), subject to on-site announcements.
6. No-Show / Tardiness Policy: No refunds or extensions will be granted for no-shows, late arrivals, or cancellations due to personal reasons; this will be deemed a forfeiture of the session. Leofoo Resort reserves the right to final interpretation of all activities.

Booking Add-On Policy:

• To secure your spot, all activity add-on reservations must be paid in full through our online payment system. No refunds will be provided for no-shows, late arrivals, or cancellations due to personal reasons.
• If the reservation is not paid in full, your spot will not be reserved and will be placed on a waitlist. Walk-in spots on the day of the event are subject to availability and require full payment on-site before joining.
• To cancel or request a refund after completing your reservation, please refer to the Cancellation & Refund Policy below.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

• 11 days or more prior to the activity date: A 3% administrative fee will apply.
• 3 to 10 days prior to the activity date: A 50% cancellation fee will apply.
• 0 to 2 days prior to/on the activity date: Non-refundable (100% cancellation fee).

💡 Example (Assuming the activity date is May 3):

• Cancel on or before April 22: 3% administrative fee applies.
• Cancel between April 23 and April 30: 50% cancellation fee applies.
• Cancel between May 1 and May 3: Non-refundable.
• Note: If the activity cannot be executed due to force majeure, the company will, with the participant's consent, assist in rescheduling the experience or processing a full, interest-free refund.

Privacy Policy & Personal Data Protection

To ensure the protection of applicants' personal data and privacy during the registration process, the Company hereby informs you of the following matters in accordance with Article 8 of the Personal Data Protection Act of the Republic of China (Taiwan):

1. Purpose and Method of Collection: The data is collected for applicant management, statistical surveys/analyses, event notifications, registration, and payment processing. Data will be collected via this authorization form.
2. Categories of Personal Data: Includes the applicant's name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and credit card information.
3. Period, Region, Target, and Method of Use:
   • Period: During the operational period of the Company.
   • Region: Within the territory of the Republic of China (Taiwan) where the Company operates.
   • Target and Method: Used for membership management, customer query systems, payment processing, and promotional updates. (If you wish to opt-out of promotional updates in the future, you may call us at any time to revoke your consent).
4. Applicant Rights: In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, applicants have the right to:
   (1) Inquire or request review; (2) Request a copy; (3) Request supplements or corrections; (4) Request to stop collection, processing, or utilization; (5) Request deletion.

Validity of the Authorization Form: By signing this authorization form, the applicant acknowledges that they have understood and agreed to all contents, terms, and announcements herein. Any disputes arising from this form shall be interpreted under the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), with the Taiwan Taipei District Court serving as the court of first instance.
