Hippo Experience

Hop aboard the VIP carriage of the steam train ""Hippo Experience"" that travels through the herbivore animal zone. This special carriage allows you to disembark within the herbivore animal zone during the activity. You can embark on an adventure by walking into the hidden habitat of the grasslands, where you'll have the opportunity to closely observe hippos and unravel the secrets behind their large mouths. Witness the awe-inspiring sight of hippos feeding up close and personal.

Notes: (1) Please arrive at the African Safari Nairobi Express 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
          (2) To ensure a clean living environment for the animals, we schedule monthly cleaning of the
     hippopotamus pool. On cleaning days, the hippopotamus experience will be temporarily suspended.The cleaning dates are as follows:

Notes:

1. Each session is limited to 15 people (subject to adjustment based on animal conditions) and is based on the order of successful reservation and payment.

2. This activity has no age restrictions. Participants under 15 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult who complies with safety regulations. A waiver form must be filled out before the experience.

3. The animal experiences at Leofoo Resort Guanshi are designed to enhance the well-being of the animals while integrating the significance of ecological education, and feeding the animals is not allowed.The experience content during the activity will be adjusted according to the animals' conditions. The actual experience content on-site will prevail. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

4. This activity involves close interaction with animals. Participants are kindly requested to wear earth-tone clothing, such as black, white, gray, and brown, to avoid startling the animals with bright colors.Also, avoid applying perfume or skincare products with strong scents.

5.5. In case of bad weather, considering hygiene and environmental protection, raincoats will not be provided by Leofoo Resort. Participants in the animal experience activity need to bring their own raincoats. We apologize for any inconvenience.

6. For the animal experience activities at Leofoo Resort, in consideration of the safety of both animals and visitors, if there are adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or uncontrollable factors related to the animals (ex: emotions, health, etc.), the activities for that day may be adjusted or canceled. VIP members can participate in the next day's session. The Leofoo Resort Activity Department will assist VIP guests with any necessary adjustments. Leofoo Resort reserves the right of final interpretation for all activities. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Notes for Additional Purchase:

* For all reserved activity experiences, additional purchases are to be made through the online payment system, charging the full amount to secure the activity slot. If a participant fails to attend the reserved activity, arrives late, or is unable to participate due to personal reasons, it will be considered forfeiture without a refund.

* For reserved activity experiences with additional purchases, if the full amount is not paid, the service of reserving the activity slot will not be provided and will be considered as a waiting list. If there are remaining activity slots available on the day of the event, on-site payment can be made to participate in the activity after completing the payment.

* After completing the reservation for additional activity experiences, if you wish to cancel and request a refund, please follow the activity refund procedure below.

 

Refund Policy:

* If the cancellation is notified by the participant at least 7 days before the activity date (excluding the day of the activity), the company will refund the full amount.

* If the cancellation is notified by the participant at 4 ~7 days before the activity date (excluding the day of the activity), the company will refund 70% of the full amount.

* If the cancellation is notified by the participant within 3 days before the activity date (excluding the day of the activity), the company will refund 40% of the full amount.

* If the cancellation is notified by the participant on the day of the activity, the company will not refund any amount and will consider the full payment as a penalty for breach of contract.

* In the event that the reserved activity cannot be conducted due to unforeseeable circumstances beyond control, the company will assist in rescheduling the experience or arrange a refund without interest, with the participant's consent.

 

Protection of Data:

To protect the participant's personal information and privacy, our company will use the participant's personal information during the registration process. We hereby inform you in accordance with Article 8 of the Personal Data Protection Act about the following matters:

I. Purpose and Method of Collection: The company collects personal information for the purpose of participant management, activity statistical analysis and research, activity information notification and registration, and payment processing. The collection of personal information will be done through the completion of this authorization form.

II. Categories of Personal Information Collected: This includes the participant's name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and credit card information.

III. Duration, Region, Recipients, and Methods of Use:

1.Duration: During the operation period of our company.

2.Region: Within the territory of the Republic of China where our company is located.

3.Recipients and Methods of Use: Used for membership management, customer management inquiries, payment processing, and activity promotion by our company. (If you do not wish to continue receiving promotional messages in the future, you can inform us at any time to withdraw your consent.)

IV. Rights of the Participant Regarding Personal Information: If the participant provides personal information to our organization, they have the rights under the Personal Data Protection Act to:

1.Inquire or request access. 2.Request a copy to be made. 3.Request supplementation or correction. 4.Request cessation of collection, processing, or utilization. 5.Request deletion.

 

Authorization Letter Validity:

When the applicant signs the authorization letter, it is considered that they have understood and agreed to all the content and related announcement provisions of this authorization letter. Any disputes related to the authorization letter shall be interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of China, and the Taipei District Court in Taiwan shall have jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
